It started innocently enough: a set borrowed from a friend, a kitchen table cleared, and two people who had no idea how quickly Mahjongg would pull us in. We were laughing through mistakes, learning the rhythm of the tiles, and staying up far too late for “just one more hand.”
We bought our own set within a week. Then we started noticing everything: how tiles felt in hand, how artwork carried personality, and how a beautifully made set could transform a game night into an experience.
